Hi, I’m Lorraine, the owner & licensed tour guide for your two-hour walking tour.  I grew up in Charleston where my family has a long history going back to the 1700’s. After graduating from college with a degree in Art History I followed in my mother's footsteps & became a tour guide for many years and was featured in 

Travel & Leisure Magazine.

I also come from a long line of gardeners like my Grandmother Rose who was a Poet and an early member of the Charleston Garden Club.

She was the person that gave me my

 love of nature.

During the Pandemic I went back to my roots & worked for a local plant nursery as a 

Sales Representative where I obtained both the Nursery & Landscape Professional Certifications. 

Coming full circle, I decided to renew my City of Charleston tour guide license and combine my love of Charleston’s history with my love of plants (they have an interesting history too).
